Yusuf is an IT Tutor at the International College of Auckland, teaching the NZ Diploma in IT Technical Support (Level 5), with a focus on Computer Hardware and Operating Systems, Networking and Systems Administration, IT Security and Technical Support, and Web Development. He brings over 20 years of industry experience into the classroom and holds a Master of Science in Computer Science, alongside ongoing postgraduate studies in Cybersecurity at Auckland University of Technology (AUT).
Before joining ICA, Yusuf held senior ICT leadership roles, delivering large-scale infrastructure projects and leading engineering teams across South Asia, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe, where he also provided IT training as part of these projects. He is a Cisco-certified networking professional, with expertise spanning networking, data centre infrastructure, virtualisation, and cybersecurity.
Yusuf is committed to a "pracademic" approach by bridging real-world industry leadership with practical, industry-relevant teaching that prepares students for successful IT careers.
