The New Zealand Diploma in Engineering (Electronics) (Level 6) is a nationally recognised qualification designed for individuals passionate about electronics, technology, and innovative solutions. This two-year programme provides a comprehensive foundation in electronic engineering principles, combining theoretical knowledge with practical skills to prepare students for dynamic roles in the industry.

Applicants must be physically capable of completing the practical aspects of the programme, by being able to work effectively, efficiently and safely.
Applicants who do not meet the entry requirements will be counselled to an appropriate foundation programme.
Domestic applicants aged under 20 years who have not met the general academic admission and entry criteria for the programme, but who can demonstrate a reasonable chance of success through other educational attainment and/or work or life experience, may be eligible for provisional entry at the discretion of the Academic Dean or designated nominee. Provisional entry places restrictions on re-enrolment, which may be lifted if the applicant's performance is deemed satisfactory by the Academic Dean or designated nominee.
All applicants must be at least 16 years of age when they begin their studies, and they should meet the country-specific admission requirements. To be eligible for entry into this programme, you must hold a secondary school qualification equivalent to New Zealand's National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) Levels — see the country-by-country table below.
