The International College of Auckland (ICA) has established an articulation agreement with Griffith University, Australia, providing students with a clear and seamless pathway to higher education after completing their studies at ICA.
Students who complete the New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5) can progress into relevant undergraduate programmes at Griffith University, with opportunities for credit recognition and advanced standing.
80CP credit transfer awarded towards Bachelor of Information Technology(1538.1539), Nathan and Gold Coast campus(240CP/3 year degree), for completion of the NZ Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support(1 year)
140CP credit transfer awarded towards Bachelor of Information Technology(1538.1539), Nathan and Gold Coast campus(240CP/3 year degree), for completion of the NZ Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support(1 year) + NZ Diploma in Systems Administration (1 year)
In addition, students who successfully complete the Diploma in Networks and Systems Administration (Advanced) (Level 7, 120 credits, 1 year) are eligible for up to 80 credit points (CP) of credit transfer towards the Bachelor of Information Technology (Programs 1538/1539) offered at Griffith University’s Nathan and Gold Coast campuses.
With this credit transfer, students can complete the remaining 160 credit points (approximately 2 years) of the degree. The programme offers flexible intakes in Trimester 1 and Trimester 2, allowing students to plan their academic progression effectively.
This pathway provides ICA students with an excellent opportunity to gain an internationally recognised qualification and advance their careers in the field of Information Technology.

International students must have appropriate and current medical and travel insurance while studying in New Zealand.
If you are over 18 years of age you may choose your own accommodation. However if you would like ICA to organise homestay accommodation please indicate this on the registration form or inform the Marketing Manager at any time. If you have problems with your accommodation the ICA Marketing Manager is available at ICA during normal office hours on a daily basis or in an emergency please contact the Principal.
