Kathryn Sandford is a respected Personal Brand and Leadership Coach with over 20 years of experience in leadership, recruitment, and professional development. She is the founder of the “Invisible to Influential” coaching programme and a passionate advocate for empowering senior professionals—particularly women over 40—to rediscover their voice, visibility, and value in the workplace.
A graduate of the University of Auckland with a background in education and history, Kathryn has held leadership roles in recruitment and business development, including Managing Director at M2M and Director at Dream Plan Act Ltd. Her work blends strategic insight with human-centered coaching to help individuals build meaningful, future-proof careers.
Kathryn brings to the ICA Academic Advisory Board her deep expertise in personal branding, career progression, and leadership development. Her commitment to equity, visibility, and inclusive leadership aligns with ICA’s mission to prepare students for meaningful professional futures.
Beyond her coaching work, Kathryn has served as a board member at the Auckland Community Law Centre and continues to mentor through the University of Auckland’s Women’s Mentoring Programme. Her unique perspective on professional growth and learner empowerment makes her a valuable contributor to ICA’s strategic academic vision.
