On July 29th, 2024, ICA attended the Women in Engineering meet & greet with Fulton Hogan, where recruitment representative Ms. Simone provided valuable insights into the construction industry in New Zealand. She shared how large recruiters perceive students as potential employees and the qualities they seek during recruitment. This networking event celebrated women in engineering and the spirit of engineering itself. Excitingly, Fulton Hogan, previously hesitant to recruit students outside of UOA, is now open to offering our students opportunities at their company.
