Entry Requirements

Year 1

  • Students must be 16 years and over.
  • International students who do not have English as a first language must have an IELTS score of 5.5 with no band score lower than 5 or equivalent.

Year 2

  • Students must hold the New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5) and/or equivalent qualification and/or appropriate knowledge, skills and experience in the IT sector.
  • International students and those who do not have English as a first language must have an IELTS academic score of 6.0, with no band score lower than 5.5; or the New Zealand Certificate in English Language Level 5; or equivalent.

Aim of the Course

Our specifically designed programme incorporates two qualifications and provides students with the essential skills for entering the IT industry. It provides a great opportunity for those who are keen on having the fundamental knowledge and skills in a wide range of higher level computer support and systems administration knowledge and skills with a specialization in computer networking, to industry recognized standards.
