Weeks before I left Philippines, I was having doubts regarding almost everything. But what troubled me the most is the fact that I have to find a career in a country that I have no connections, no friends, and no family to help me. Unfortunately I had brought those issues with me for almost a week here in New Zealand and it bothered me a lot. What help me? International College of Auckland, just few days in school I have met not only filipino friends but also people from different countries who easily became my friend, from school staffs to students. I am not that friendly but the people in ICA are the best; they approach you with a smile in their faces, help you unconditionally and accompany you even after school hours. The School helps me to find a part-time job, and then on I have connections, the school staffs and the mentors help me with every questions and problems that I ask and jam with me after classes, now I have friends. I misses home so much but what makes ICA stands out from the rest is that they treat me as family.
ICA also helps to hone my skills and knowledge for me to be ready not only in New Zealand’s job market but also globally. With their up-to-date educational engineering equipment, competent PhD professors, and pleasant and goodly facilities my career is on the right track.
P.S. New Zealand is such a beauty. You’ll never regret going here, Promise!!!
